Twenty-four members of four Gujjar families were rescued from the middle of the Jalmusha Khad near the Katasan temple in Sirmaur district after the stream's water level rose suddenly. The rescue operation, carried out on Tuesday noon, involved Home Guard jawans and district police personnel working together for three hours.
