In a major crackdown on drug smuggling, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the intelligence wing of the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) seized 30 kg of heroin from two alleged smugglers in Fazilka district. The joint operation took place on Shahtirwala road on Friday evening.

The accused have been identified as Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Walleshah Uttar village, and Manpreet Singh, a resident of New Hasta Kalan village in Fazilka district. An FIR has been lodged in connection with the seizure.
