Our Take: A Reminder of Mountain Road Dangers
This accident is a grim reminder of how dangerous mountain roads in Uttarakhand can be. Narrow roads, sharp turns, and steep gorges make driving risky, especially during certain weather conditions. Four lives lost in a single moment is a heavy price. We hope the injured recover quickly, and we urge authorities to look into road safety measures on this route. Every such tragedy should push for better barriers, warning signs, and stricter driving rules in hilly areas.
