The Shimla meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain in isolated places across Himachal Pradesh. This warning is in effect from August 31 till September 3, covering Monday through Thursday.

Several areas have recorded significant rainfall during this period. Dhaulakuan received 38.5 mm of rain, the highest among the reported locations. Ghaghas followed with 30 mm, while Palampur recorded 23.8 mm of rainfall. Murari Devi also received measurable rainfall during this spell.
