Beneficiaries across 18 districts to receive ₹51,000 financial assistance
Chandigarh, March 31: Punjab Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Dr. Baljit Kaur, announced that ₹23.32 crore has been released under the Ashirwad Scheme for 4,572 Scheduled Caste beneficiaries during the 2025-26 financial year.
The scheme provides financial support for the marriage of daughters from low-income families, reducing financial burdens and ensuring social security.
