Our Take: Justice must be swift and thorough
This case has shaken the community in Shimla. The murder of a school director in broad daylight raises serious questions about safety and planning behind such attacks. In our view, the police custody of the two shooters is a critical step, but the real test will be whether the investigation can uncover the full chain of command. The focus must remain on finding the mastermind and ensuring that all those involved face the full force of the law. The public deserves answers, and the family of Manisha Mittal deserves justice without delay.
