Chandigarh, Renowned media professional and social activist Surinder Verma was felicitated with the prestigious National Excellence Award for his outstanding contribution to media and public communication at a grand ceremony held at Hyatt Centric Delhi on Saturday.
The award was presented by former Indian cricketer and 1983 World Cup winner Madan Lal along with H.E. Sylvie-Michele Mpon Tiek Mambo, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon. The ceremony brought together distinguished personalities from media, diplomacy and various professional fields.
The event also witnessed the presence of several distinguished international dignitaries including H.E. Zada Seidou, Ambassador of the Republic of Niger; H.E. Idjilma Badda Mallot, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad, H.E. Yawo Edem Akpemado, Ambassador of the Republic of Togo. Vishnu Bhakta Dasa, a spiritual leader and social activist and Prof. Subha Rajan, Global Thought Leader and Senior Fellow at IMAGINDI Institute, New Delhi.
The National Excellence Award continues to honour individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment and innovation, setting benchmarks in media and communication.
