Our Take: Road Safety Concerns Remain

This accident near Machhian village is a stark reminder of how quickly road mishaps can happen, especially on routes where multiple vehicles are involved. While the injuries in this case are not reported as life-threatening, the sequence of events — a bus hitting one vehicle and then being hit by another — shows how a single moment of misjudgement can lead to a chain reaction. In our view, local authorities should examine whether better signage or speed control measures on this stretch could prevent similar incidents. For now, the focus remains on the recovery of the six injured passengers.
