Discusses key issues concerning Himachal
Governor Kavinder Gupta today called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. This marked his first meeting with the Prime Minister since assuming charge as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
The Governor held detailed discussions on matters related to the development and welfare of Himachal Pradesh. Key initiatives discussed include:
- Drug-Free Himachal Campaign
- TB-Free Himachal Campaign
- Promotion of natural farming
- Expansion of chemical-free agricultural practices
The Governor highlighted that a growing number of farmers and orchardists are adopting sustainable practices. He stressed the need for eco-friendly agriculture to ensure environmental protection and improved livelihoods.
Shri Gupta stated that continued support and guidance from the Center Government are vital for accelerating state initiatives. He emphasized collaborative efforts between the State and the Centre for holistic growth and public welfare.
